We started out about the same as everyone else with gear and tools. When you work and play with others, it is inevitable to end up with your friends gear. At first it isn’t a big deal. Then you like your friends’ gear and they like yours. You start buying similar items until it is hard to tell who owns what, so you start with colored tape. You use blue, they use red, white, etc. Then a new co-worker or friend comes in and has the same color as someone in your circle. Now what? Add another color of tape so you have two colors. Genius! That works until someone outside the circle of coworkers or friends are involved. So why not put a name on it with the colors? Yup, it started like that.
